The Live A Yes Foundation was created in memory of 11-year-old Lillian Anderson to give back to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta annually, and honor a special life well lived. In September of 2009, Lily’s  parents took her to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta after she had been complaining of severe stomach pains. Little did they know that Children’s (CHOA) would become their home for the next 3 ½ years. Lily was diagnosed with Stage IV Neuroblastoma, a rare form of childhood cancer, and given six months to live. She beat the odds, fighting her battle for the next 3½ years. Although there were difficult days, Lily always found the bright side.

She chose to Live A Yes life. She took each hard day, and made the best of it. Tragically, December 15, 2012, Lily went to be with Jesus. On the first Anniversary of Lily passing, the Anderson’s decided to turn this day of sadness into a day of giving. This was the beginning of what would become an annual Toy Drive for CHOA. Each year on December 15th, Lily’s Toy Drive collects thousands of toys to fill the hospital’s toy supply rooms. In 2019 Lily’s parents, Jennifer And Joey Anderson, founded The Live a Yes Foundation to honor their daughter and support children in need. The Foundation continues to host the annual Lily’s Toy Drive on December 15th, with a goal of providing CHOA with enough toys to gift each and every child visiting the hospital a special surprise throughout the year. The Live A Yes Foundation relies on organizations and individuals like you to help sustain our mission. 100% of the money raised goes directly to benefit children during their hospital stay. We thank you for any support you can give. LIVE a YES foundation
